Information that reaches us

Through the enquiry form: the .com address in question, the company and person writing, an email for the reply, and optionally a phone, a subject and a free-text note. The form also passes along the network address of the device that sent it, which stays attached to the enquiry so misuse can be traced.

Through email: whatever you put in the message, plus the routine headers every email travels with (sender, date, delivery path).

Browsing the pages costs you nothing in data beyond the ordinary: Ondine Solutions places no cookies, and the pages load no analytics, advert or tracking code. The hosting service records each request (address requested, time, browser, network address) for security and simple visit counts, and those records carry no names.

Purpose

Answering you, and, when a purchase goes ahead, arranging payment and the transfer of the name. Your details are never sold or passed to anyone for marketing, and writing in does not put you on any list.

Service providers

• Cloudflare hosts every page and takes in the form. On the contact page, its Turnstile widget checks that a human is sending, reading browser signals solely to make that judgement.
• Our mail provider holds and delivers our email, including the copy of each form enquiry that lands in our inbox.
• When a sale happens, the licensed escrow service takes the payment and runs its own customer checks, under its own privacy notice. Card and bank details go to escrow only and never pass through us.

Retention

Correspondence is deleted two years after a conversation goes quiet. Paperwork for a completed sale stays for the period tax law sets, which is normally seven years.

Email lena@ondinesolutions.com to see what Ondine Solutions holds on you, to have it fixed, or to have it erased. If Lena wrote to you and you would prefer she did not again, reply "stop": neither that address nor your colleagues will hear from us after that.
